VBA help needed to add data validation based on matching column header from another sheet

Hi Folks,

Please help me with a code to add data validation automatically from sheet "DropList" based on matching column header.



I have attached the work book what I am trying to accomplish.

What do you mean by not working so I can advise how to fix? Code works on the example workbook that you have uploaded.

Hi krjoshi,

I don't think you need VBA to do what I think you want. I've created a bunch of DNR (Dynamic Named Ranges) on your lists sheet and used them as data validation on your second sheet. See if this works the way you want. You can add stuff to your lists and it will automatically show up when you do data validation. Look at Formula Tab -> Named Ranges to see the names and the Data Tab -> Data Validation to see what I've done.
