Hi guys!
Im trying to get excel to autofresh my Web Site Data from a date i select from a drop down list.
The website navigates its pages by just changing the date at the end... eg, "$$$.com/2017-03-2"
can i link a drop down list from a cell so it replaces the date value at the end of the website address with my address in the drop down list? This way it will automatically
refresh my Web Data to the correct page (by Date)

Microsoft has added a new tool to Excel called Get & Transform in 2016 excel. These tools are called "Power Query" and I think they are what you are looking for. See these two links for a start on your problem.

Power Query is easier than VBA but you need to think of it a little differently than a simple Excel function. We are used to VLookup() and Sum() where we use other cells and ranges in our worksheet/workbook. Ive used Power Query and for the data im retrieving the website doesnt bring in the correct information into Power Querry.
So what i did was have a Web Querry and just import all the data.
I just need to be able to change the URL end part with a Cell Value so it refreshes the correct web page.
Any ideas how to do this without using Power Query?
After you pointed me in the right direction i have found information on "Web Querry Parameters"
This seems what im after so ill mark this Thread as "Solved" for now and hopefully ill get my head around it.
