Name in column A to be pasted in the the cell below matching the name in Column D

    Untitled.jpg

So as you can see in the above image, 1st line includes child name and class, and the the second line is the billing line of that kid..
I want the name to get pasted where the 1 is..

However sometimes there will be kids in same family and will have multiple kids..

    Untitledss.jpg

So in this as you can see Kamery is listed second but billed first.. so I guess matching the names with column D and then pasting would work..

However there is one more catch..

    Untitledasdfa.jpg

In the above Image you can see, that the comment is 3 days.. So sometimes it will appear like this if the child has attended only 3 days.. So matching the names won't work I guess.. In this case the classes could be matched.. so Kayden is Primary A and Jonah is Young Infants..

I don't have a starting macro, because this is way too advanced for my knowledge..

I have attached a template file to work with.. Thanks in advance..

What happens in row 65-67 where there are only 2 rows (68-69) for the names to be pasted? Same issue in rows 16-17 with only row 18 available; 19 & 20, and 22 & 23.

    Hi matrixman,

So these are the kids that have not been billed in this billing cycle... that's why they don't have a row to be pasted in.. I know it is confusing as hell..

OK - so if the name matches in the comment column then I can identify the ones that get copied (won't work all the time - e.g. row14 - "Mia(Lily)" versus "Mia (Lily)" with a space); also won't work if the comment is a comment rather than a name; also won't work if both names are the same. However, the question remains: take the first record - Pablo matches the second record and would get moved down to cell A9 ... what happens to the record in row7 - Olivia - does that get deleted or moved somewhere else?
