Transferring a value to a certain place in table

I've posted this over at Ozgrid, but I'm a little worried there's not really a viable solution for this

    http://www.ozgrid.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204268

I would like to transfer a number value from one cell into a table on another sheet. The thing is, it has to match the criteria of the Company name and the Date range across the top. I kind of had it working, and then messed up my code.

Basically in the attached sheet, the "Record Hours" button will transfer the number of hours to the Hours sheet according to the drop down criteria.

Post the attachment (not a link) in THIS forum as well.
I can't download your file without joining OzGrid.

Use the Go Advanced option at the bottom of the page then scroll down to Manage Attachments as the "paperclip" method does not work on this forum.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.

Sorry about that. I tried adding the attachment, but a little tiny window appears and I can't select anything. Happens in more than one browser, too.

    I have a link here

That Google link is ok but FYI for attachments on this forum

Use the Go Advanced option at the bottom of the page
then scroll down to Manage Attachments
Then click Browse at the top to go to where the attachment is stored on your computer.

Ah, this looks a bit more complex than the help I can provide as Im not a VBA expert.
Hopefully someone will come along and solve this for you.

There's no macro in your sample file to update/revise.
    Resend the right sample file.

Err. Well I'm afraid I don't have it any more. I thought I had left it in the file, but since I first uploaded that to Ozgrid I had since tried other options and discarded my unsuccessful attempts.

I'm sorry, even if there were existing code I'm guessing it would be pretty useless to the more skilled in this community.

Re: Transferring a value to a certain place in table

I'm not sure if my hopes are made clear enough here. Simply put, I have a cell I would like copied to a range in another sheet. The coordinates (X,Y) are determined by two other cells. X row/Y column.

Perhaps the difficult part is that the column is a range of six days? If it's greater than this date, but lower than this date then it belongs in this column.

Would it be possible to have this thread closed so I can re-open it on Ozgrid? I'm feeling like it's not going to be solvable.
