I am a beginner to excel vba. I have a column (I) in my excell sheet called DUE IN. I would like to send an email to outlook when the cell value is less than 3 (2,1,0,-1,-2...) even when the excel file is closed. I would also like to send the email at a particular time in the morning with the data in column C and D cells in that row as the body of email.
I would like to extend this to a range of 100 data.
Any help would be much appreciated.

One basic question: send the mail to who? To the same person regardless of the row or to different people depending on the row?
Another question: I assume you want to check the mail status on file open. You said you wanted to check it on file closed. You also said you wanted to check it at a particular time every day. Other than these three times, are there any other times to check?
To comply with the latter, you will need to use the windows task scheduler. Also since we are working with outlook, you will need to be logged in. You can have the screen locked and outlook does not have to be running, but you will have to be logged on.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
