Split a string in a cell and copy splitted characters to adjacent cells

Hello everybody,

I´m trying to figure out how to split a string and copy the broken down characters to adjacent cells. Probably there is also a way to achieve this through formulas, but a solution based on VBA would come more in handy...Any ideas on how to program this?

...forgot to mention, the string's syntax is always as in the example above: 2 to 3 numbers and just beside to the right 2 letters

I think I will go for the formula-based solution but i write down the VBA Code in case later I have no other option but VBA
