Microsoft Project 2016, using developer (VBA Project)

    Hi guys,

I am using the Developer within Microsoft Project 2016.

have a macro that will highlight a single 'cell' orange, and highlight a single row yellow, depending on what I have selected on the Gantt Chart screen.

The only problem I have is..
If the 'Task Name' is highlighted as a single 'cell' then it'll highlight the whole row yellow with the following code:

My logic to the solution would be to do something like:

    Thanks guys!

    Re: VBProject!

Your post does not comply with Forum Rule #1:

    1. Use concise, accurate thread titles. Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution. Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

    Please fix your thread title

    Re: VBProject!

Welcome to the forum! Please take a moment to re-read forum rule #1 and then amend your thread title to something that better explains your problem. Changing your thread title is not optional. Thanks!

No help to be offered, please, until the OP complies with this request.

    That makes no sense.
    Should have just said:

Re: Microsoft Project 2016, using developer (VBA Project)

I'm afraid it still isn't satisfactory, because you have not done as Buran suggested in post #2:

Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
Please try again. Once you have provided a title that explains the problem, then I shall remove these posts and you may receive help.

My post made perfect sense - I do not see what you think is contradictory about it. However, had you required clarification, you should have sent me a PM. Regarding your questioning of the rules and awarding me negative reputation points, I suggest you read the forum rules carefully, especially the section which outlines what you should have done in these circumstances (in particular rules #7a and #7b). Thanks.
