Hi, i am completely new on macro programming in excel, and i have a task to achieve. I want to copy a word document which follows a format into an excel document with other format.
Actually, i am using Excel 2010 v14.0 as well as Word 2010.
I have tried to look for the solution in this thread:
http://www.excelforum.com/excel-prog...-possible.html
But with my limited knowledge, i am not able to obtain the neccesary info needed for this task in there.
This would be the original word document:
Cap1.PNG
Note that the number of B_text is variable between each table. The number of other X_text will always be 1 for each table. Also, tables may be splitted in different pages.
We will not have any X_text in tables in the 'RANDOM STUFF' section.
The result i would like to achieve is this:
cap2.PNG
As you can see, we would first have to look for the max_number of B in one table in the word document to determine the number of rows in the excel document.
Note that all row headers in black will be predefined text, and we will not have to introduce nothing once they are set.
Could someone help me achieve this?
Thanks.
