    Error: Document not saved (Office 365)

    What causes the error document not saved? It has happened twice already, is it caused by some VBA code? The file is literally damaged.

    Recently (not long ago, just last month), I started using Google Drive to sync a folder among multiple PCs, which is convenient. This is the file I use frequently every day, but occasionally it shows the error message (maybe twice already). I had never seen such error message before using Google Drive to sync folder, and I have been using this file for years.

    Is it caused by running VBA under sync environment? Since it had never happened before I used Google Drive to sync folder/file among multiple PCs.

    Good thing is: I make a copy of this file every few days, just in case of being damaged, this file is important to me (lots of VBA programs inside). I can get a previous version, which is only a few days old, but is still out of date version.

    I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who runs into this program. The two files it affects happen to be macro-enabled (XLSB files) and are used daily and weekly.

    There are backup methods that will allow you to retrieve former versions of the file.

    I embedded code that adds the file to a circular archive. That is, I keep the last 5 or so copies of the file.
