List box banding rows?

Hello again,
I have a new idea in the works that involves a list box to return filtered data from a worksheet. I know how to get the banding at the worksheet level with conditional formatting, I am wondering if there is a method to do this in the list box.

In all of the U-tube videos I've watched to learn VBA, I'm not sure this has been presented. Maybe more trouble than it's worth?

You can insert bands if you really want.

But I doubt that you would be able to deal with the consequences.

You can make the listbox "Multi Select"

You can then Select every Even or every Odd row. Those will be coloured Blue.

Which is great right?

So then you click on a row to select it.

How do you know which row you clicked on?

You need to look at the selected state of each entry to work out which entry you clicked on.

It is perfectly possible to do but is it worth it?

I will knock up a demonstration for you.

Maybe this is the reason I've not seen it done. Far too much code to create a seemingly simple task with minimal results.
