hello friends ,
i have over few hundred excel files xls and xlsx in same folder ,
i would like to rename those files as per their own cell (value/string/character/word) mentioned in cell A2

Where the cell A2 is, in which sheet ?

A2 in sheet1 , in all excel files .
there are 500 excel files in one folder ,
each excel has its own name in its own A2 cell of sheet1 .

Well, xladept beat me on the point and the code is very similar to what I add in mind but really smarter.

yes its working , also last thing , would like to move on this micro if there is some error .
coz i have few files which has same name/word/file name in A2 of sheet1
