Unhappy Very Hard MACRO. autofilter, formatting and other stuff

    Good evening guys,

i'm attaching the excel sheet for your tests and better understanding. (the output is manually filled in order to make my intentions understandable)

As you can see i have one SOURCE sheet filled with names and other entries. The main entries to be considered for the ouputs are Name and surname, Work location and related time (From,to)

The output sheets are twelve (each month of the year) and prefilled from row 1 to row 8.

The Macro should link Name and surname to the work location and related time, copy the entries and fill the output sheets as per example attached.

Sorry for the poor explanation but it's hard for me to explain in another language (i'm writing to you guys from italy).

I'm always available for further explanations.

    Thank you all

    Good morning/evening guys,
    i saw no replies.

I want to ask if i did something wrong here, i don't know, topic title too generic or simply what i'm asking is over excel capabilities.

It's only to understand better how to make questions to you all.

    Thank you very much

No, nothing wrong. You just need to be patient and wait for someone who can help.

This code works with the dubbelclick
in month sheets, i put the month number in cell A1 (helper for code)
code takes care of more months in given start and end date
so just dubbelclick somewhere in the row, when done, done appears in column Q

    Hi Leo,
first of all, thank u very much for trying to help me.

I'm far away to be expert in this but i can understand reading codes. I have some concernings to explain to you:

    - There is any possibility to make the code working as a standard macro? without doubleclick every row? The source file will probably contain hundreds of names;
    - I see that u manually wrote the work locations inside the code. The macro should be detect every different (and same) work locations automatically (work locations are not always the same, there can be some new and some deleted) and apply colors to the same working location in the different output sheets (it is not important the color, also randomly is fine).

Hoping to have explained well and waiting for yout kind reply,

    Thank u again

Re: Very Hard MACRO. autofilter, formatting and other stuff

    Good morning Leo,
i were on vacation so i didn't have chance to thank u so, first of all, THANK U !!!!!

The MACRO works very well but now i'm facing another problem wishing u can help.

I added some stuff inside the macro (cells format, colors etc...) and now, after several macro running, when u re-open the .xls file, a message says "unreadable content" then ask you if you want to recover the file.
(U have to run the macro more than once to have the problem during the next file opening)

    I really don't know why.

I'm attaching the .xls for your evaluation.

    Thank you again
