Macro to count number of entries based on 2 variables

I have data starting at row 32 of the worksheet. Column A has dates in the following format M/DD/YYYY and Column H has the other variable of importance. I am trying to develop a table that provides counts for each month of for a specified year (i.e. the year for the table is found in cell L3). To simplify I will provide one example so to not confuse anyone as once I figure out the logic I can adjust the code to populate the rest of th table. In the example cell M4 is intended to be a count of all values from Row 32 on that have a date in January of the year provided in L3 and have the text value of "AAA" in column H. I am looking to make this a worksheet vairable change event.

Any help would be much appreciated and hopefully I was able to articulate in a manner that is understandable.

You get better help on your question if you add a small excel file, without confidential information.

Please also add manualy the expected result in your file.

To Attach a File:

1. Scroll down to the window below your post Additional Options
2. In the frame Attach Files you will see the button Manage Attachments
3. Click the button.
4. A new window will open titled Manage Attachments - Excel Forum.
5. Click the Browse... button to locate your file for uploading.
6. This will open a new window File Upload.
7. Once you have located the file to upload click the Open button. This window will close.
8. You are now back in the Manage Attachments - Excel Forum window.
9. Click the Upload button and wait until the file has uploaded.
10. Close the window and then click Submit.

An example can be seen in the attachment. If you look at Columns L and on is where I am trying to collect this data. For now just follow the original information as if I get one example I should be able to just modify the vba to fit.

EDIT: Nevermind the file failed to upload. Will work on figuring this out.
