Smile Toolbar Control Version 6.0 not working with Windows 10

    Hello,

I recently got a new computer with the Windows 10 OS. I am working on a new project, in Excel, that requires a userform. I added the Toolbar control to the userform but when I click on custom property of the Toolbar I keep getting the error: Class not Registered. Looking for object with CLSID (Followed by a bunch of numbers).

I've combed the web looking for answers, one of which, pointed me to MSCOMCTL.ocx. I've since installed and registered the file on my computer but I still keep getting the same error message when I click on the custom property.

    Can anyone help?

Welcome to the forum! I am guessing that you mean the calendar control. I don't know of a toolbar control.

ActiveX calendar controls can fail when used improperly. This most always has to do with 32 bit vs. 64 bit operating systems and Applications.

See if this one "works" for you. https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Fo...-win-81-64-bit

Thank you Kenneth for the warm welcome and reply. Yes there is a toolbar control that really works great and gives excel userforms an app-like feel, however it doesn't want to work with my Windows 10 OS. I will look at the link and reply back soon.

Kenneth, although the article was referencing a date/time picker I went ahead and followed the instructions. Unfortunately, the toolbar control is still not working. Any other suggestions?
