Exclamation Update content of PowerPoint using VBA

    Hi!

I want to update my PowerPoint content and thus I create this code which links the columns A, B, C and D to the content inside my PowerPoint. The problem is whoever uses my code will then have to insert text box to the content in the PowerPoint which they want to edit. Here's my code:

Can I know how we can avoid as such we have to insert every new text box every single time? Any idea?

In addition, I always get this one error that says run time error: slides (unknown member): bad argument type. Expected collection index (string or integer). May I know why?

    Maybe this will help:
    Attached Files Attached Files
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

Hi Dflak, I have studied the code and it's really helpful but due to my lack of knowledge, I was wondering if it's possible for the table to be pasted in it's default form? I only know how to implement PPdefault in other version of code but your code is quite different then what I have learnt thus I'm not sure on how to implement it.

Is it possible for the table to be pasted in such a way that it can be edited in the slides? Just like how PPdefault can do?

    The code above shows error.

Fyi, this is the example of table that I have to edit every month in PowerPoint. The tables are quite a lot (the table is in almost every slides).

Update: I tried using other PPT template but the outcome is not how it supposed to look. Any idea why?

    Hi ell,

Are you inserting a LINK to your workbook or something else?
Here are instructions that I'd follow.

but it really sounds like you want to LINK the excel into your Power Point...

I wonder if this Link feature was available with Mac 2013 version of Excel.?
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

Hi Marvin, no I was not inserting a link. More like updating the PowerPoint with new content. But I would like to insert an editable form which can be replicated via PPPasteDefault (to allow editing of range inside the PowerPoint) but I'm not sure how to do it.

I have tried to apply PPPasteDefault into the code but it shows an error. You can see the code I have tried to mend as stated in the post above which has been colored with red.
