Excel Barcode

I've created a spreadsheet that uses the barcode font to create a barcode linked to specific data. The problem with this is that the sheet will be disseminated to users who likely will not have the barcode font installed on their computer. Anyone know of an alternative to this method that will allow the sheet to generate a data-specific barcode regardless of any font or add-in installation on users' ends?

MY barcode reader scans the barcode as an AlphaNumeric, and posts it to the next cell.
No barcode font.
Dont you want Excel to collect the barcode reading, not the barcode image?
