Switch from powerpoint to excel and then back again

Hello,

I am trying to create a command button using a macro in power point which when clicked will:

Open a specific sheet on a workbook in excel and display that for 30 seconds, then switch to power point and activate that presentation.

I have figured out how to do the timing with various loops. I am just not sure how to switch between two active applications, more specifically how to switch to an excel docs specific sheet from powerpoint.

Any help would be much appreciated!

If I understood correctly, it could be something like that:

There must be selected a reference to "Ms Excel Object Library" (Tools/References).
With other timing functions, e.g. 'timeGetTime()', will be better.
