When copying and pasting rows in excel, Firefox starts to use lots of resources.

I copied 2 rows with some data below the two inital header rows
    to a new excel file.

    I am using
Excel 2010 in office professional I installed from the media
Firefox is the default browser. Windows 7 16 gig ram

when copying and pasting a few rows I see Firefox taking more resources. Cpu usage jumped between 4 and 8 percent remaining there. firefox 64 56.2
In the excel fiel, only one field has a web address in it but that has hyperlink disabled.
See the template worksheet in the file.

    _____
    Issue one >>>>
If I need to recopy it from same source the same file, I get

I get something about the formula or sheet contains the name "attributpdbmap" which already exists. ...
choose yes to use as defined in destination or no to rename.

it then asks a simular question a couple of more timess

    Question, What is it overwriting??
Can I disable / delete it?
    ____

    Issue Two
    A lot of the time
After doing the above, with coping only 2 rows, then clicking undo excel becomes unresponsive. and Firefox memory jumps up from 1,800,000k to 10,000,000k
What in the file relates to the internet that would be communicating through firefox from excel?
only one field has a web address in it but that has hyperlink disabled.

    _____

Issue 3 why does it take so long to paste 1 or 2 rows?
the more rows I copy and paste the longer it takes.

I have no idea why using a desktop version of Excel would cause Firefox to start using resources - it makes no sense.

    I know is is crazy.
I did not even notice it being related until I happened to have task manager opened while I was pasting something and noticed the spike.

It is like it is linked to a file on a different server on the internet.
The file was not created by me, but by A mazon

In that case, check the file for external links. I use the subscription version, but with Excel on the desktop, and I have Firefox, and I have never seen this.

No - you attached a .zip file. Please attach the .xlsx file (I won't download .zip files - sorry).

I have attached a copy of the file. The site limit on excel files it 1 meg. the limit for zip files ( or files with zip extension ) is 9 meg
    The file is 1.26 meg.
I just renamed it to have .zip extension.
download it and remove the part of the file name that is .zip

Just cut the file down - take data out. All we need to be able to do is check the issue. I'm sorry, but I'm not downloading massive files.

Re: When copying and pasting rows in excel, Firefox starts to use lots of resources.

The origional was one where two rows of data were added to the origional file. I had uploaded it incase the issue had to do with some interaction of the other tab in the file.

I delated one of the tabs and resaved.

It now has 8 rows of data in the template sheet.
When I copy those a few times it starts slowing system

    The attached file is 378k.

Hopfully you do not consider that a massive file.
