    trying to get a BAS file loaded into my workbook

    Hey there from this thread there is a BAS file that i am trying to run.

    I believe this may fix my excel crashing problem for one user here which just started in the last few weeks.

    however when i drag the BAS file into excel VBA (accessed by CTRL+F11) and try and run it from the little arrow, it just tries to run the macro instead.

    how do i actually run this file, so that it edits my macro and fixes it? i would love to comment on the thread itself but it has been locked for some reason (sigh) thus breaking continuity.

    To import a BAS file, save the file to the hard drive. Open the VB Editor. Select File -> Import. Navigate to the BAS file.
    One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

    A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
