Help On Importing Data from one WS to another Workbook

I am trying to ask this a different way someone might have easier answer.

I have Workbook "BookPaste" it has a Sheet "Job Site Inventory" needs updating
I have Workbook "BookCopy" which is never in the same location... user should have to select the correct file.

I am needing a macro that when you have the BookPaste open on the "Job Site Inventory" sheet.
your choose an import macro which in turn asks you to select the correct import file then make your sheet selection you want imported (this file usually has multiple sheets you can choose from)

then it imports the entire sheet (keeping formats and Merged data) or just updates the values in Ranges(A12:L20) & (A25:l27).

Then the import sheet closes only leaving your sheet you started with open (Book Paste) that the info was imported onto.

I have attached both sheets.

I have something that works most of the things i want it to do.

one problem I have is after you run it once it quits asking for the source workbook and it automatically open the last one you used.
the problem is it will change so everytime you select the macro it needs to prompt user to select the correct file.

Also it prompts to update values to a linked sheet can that be stopped it will confuse people.
