Date picker-Need it to default to today's date. Also getting error but it seems to work.

I activated a date picker in excel 2013 for use in my userform. The date picker defaults to the date that I added it, but I'd like to get it to default to today's date instead. I'm assuming that the issue is the value, but I'm unable to find an option that works in that field other than a specific date.

It also gives an error when the user form is submitted, but it actually seems to be entering the date where I need it so I've just been ending it and ignoring it.

I figured it out. You cannot just leave the box empty. It's connected to a checkbox function. I changed the checkbox to true and then it allowed me to remove the date value.

I dont really care for the look of it with the checkboxes in there and it's added seconds to the time, which I don't need, but overall it's functional, so I guess that's irrelevant
