    Copy data from one workbook to a specific sheet in another workbook without overriding

    Hello everyone,

    I am sorry to bother everyone but I am stuck. I am trying to add a macro which, when activated, takes data from one workbook to a specific sheet in another. the details of what I am trying to achieve is;

    1. copy data that is contained within cells B3: F3 and down (ideally the macro will miss out the blanks when the data ends) from Workbook1
    2. Paste that data into Sheet1 within Workbook2 into cells A3:E3 down
    3. also when it pastes for the data that was already in there not to be overridden

    The macro I have tried and failed to us is;

    Can the blanks be deleted before copying? If not, no problem.
    No 2 and No 3 contradict each other. Forget about them and just call it "to the first empty cell/row in Sheet1, wb2"
    If there is data in Sheet1, wb2, are all the columns the same length?
    By the looks of it, the 2nd workbook is closed and need to be opened.
    Where is the 2nd Workbook saved? Don't need the path but makes things easier (for me anyway)

    In the meantime, how far do you get with this? (Need to delete the empties yet.)

    Since we have nothing to work with, this is another stab in the semi darkness. The previous deleting empties did not work. Maybe this one does.
    I don't think that I need to suggest to try it on copies of your workbooks first. With code, gone is gone.
