    PSCP putty FTPS log file

We had a third party programmer which built us a macro that uploads photos to secure FTPS in a module in Excel VBA.
He was using PSCP a putty protocol.

When initiating the macro it seems as we are able to connect to the FTPS and we get a CMD window that indicates that the files are being pushed to the FTP.
However when we log into the FTP the files are not there.
I am suspecting that it is sending the files to a different folder.
I was wondering how can I build a log file that will indicate the history of the activities PSCP /putty and to where the files were pushed?
    Looking forward for your advice.

Re: PSCP putty FTPS log file

    Hi starlev,

Not knowing what PuTTY is, I found a link of:
    https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~...ty/latest.html
On the above link I found it is an open source program/protocol to upload stuff.

In a section called Documentation on the above link, I found the documentation file and opened it:
    https://the.earth.li/~sgtatham/putty/0.70/puttydoc.txt

I think with the above documentation you need to look at what the third party programmer did and try to understand it. I searched the documentation for the word "path" and looked at a few of the examples. I think you need to do the same and try to figure out why those files aren't getting where you expect them to be.

NOW - if there is an Excel part to this question, keep asking. You might even show us the Excel VBA code that calls and does the PuTTY commands..
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
