    Freeze Worsheet tabs

    Is this possible?

I have a workbook with 65 seperate worksheets. The first 2 worksheets have a search macro with a find button so when entering a number it will take you to the worksheet that contains that number. I want to lock this down for our Service Desk to use and make it easy to navigate. What I want is to lock the first 2 worksheets in place so if a number is entered and you are taken to worksheet 63 for example, you can still see the first 2 worksheet tabs on the left so it's easy to enter another search number if you need to rather than having to go back to the first worksheet.

I have seen a macro that will move the search worksheet to be to the left of whatever tab you make active but this is not ideal for my requirements.

Is what I'm asking for possible?

In a word, no. I would suggest using controls on the Ribbon instead of worksheets for this purpose, so that they can be run from any sheet.

I had a fear it wasn't possible but thanks anyway. Seems like a logical function that others would find useful and Google searches appear to express my same opinion. But it's Microsoft so what can we do hey?

    Thanks anyway xLnitwit

You can add the request to the Microsoft wishlist or add your vote if it's already been requested: many user requests are implemented, although many are also ignored, it seems!
