That means that the Data sheet is not in the workbook containing the code. Perhaps you meant ActiveWorkbook rather than ThisWorkbook?

so Data sheet is there in the file. I have been using ThisWorkbook previously and it worked in same manner but here it is giving error.

Thisworkbook refers to the workbook with the code in it, whether it is active or not.
