help with grouping data

Hi hope you can help and you do not laugh at either my incompetency or my paint.jpg drawing

I have a list of data

I need to
1) confirm item description and sku match
2) export in one row and list years.


I really hope this makes sense, I am sure it is not hard but as they say, its easy when you know how.

Are you trying to compare the original data to the collated data?

No sorry I think I mislead you, The collated data and sku must match and report back the year in the same row

basically instead of having the same data with different years in different rows to have the data in one row and corresponding years adjacent.

This solution provides the information you want, but not in the exact format you want. It is a pivot table solution. The 1's indicate where the the year applies to the product.

If you need an exact solution, I can take it one step further with VBA.

When I run an awful lot of data 50k lines I get a memory error "close applications or use less data. when i close the first error message i get a debug pop up reading "Run time error 1004 delete method or range class failed"

I will just use smaller chunks of data. I am testing the maximum I can use in one extraction.

I am not a pro and when it comes to simple macros as such, I create very easy structural scripts which makes it a lot easier to understand the code while learning it at the same time. I didn't use any special formula so please feel free to take a look. It's best you type any codes given by anybody so you can learn them, but examples given like what @jaslake gave; Albeit more efficient, It can look confusing at first and even more confusing on where to start at learning all the functions and syntax.
