Excel 2016 - Screen goes white before user form loads

Hi all,

so recently upgraded from Office 2010 to O365-2016.

I have a macro that opens up a user form. In 2010, the user form opens no problem. In 2016 before the form opens, screen flickers, then goes white. Not sure if this is normal, but its irritating.

I also get the error on first use : Run-time error 2110: can't move focus to the control because it is invisible, not enabled, or of a type that does not acept the focus.

however, if i go click end and run the macro again the form opens.

Any advise ?

I think it would help to see the user form or, at the very least, any code in its Initialize and/or Activate events.

Please post the following code (enclosed in code tags)

1.Private Sub UserForm_Activate()
2.Private Sub UserForm_Initialize()
3. Sub that opens the form
