Check the existence of string

Hello everyone

I have a string variable for range A1 .. the string has special characters
How can I use instr to check the string .. The problem is that when copying the string that I need to search for the special character appears in improper way so I don't get correct results

1) Don't use str as a variable name, there's Str function in vba.
