Move PDF to Sharepoint

Hi,
hoping someone can point out a simple solution, that I have missed, I have googled and found nothing that helped,
How the userform is meant to work, the user opens explorer window and selects the file (.pdf) they wish to upload (this is tb_SMPLocation.Value, this part works),

the new name is calculated from various text boxes and combo boxes, (This is tb_SaveName.Value)

it then saves the pdf in sharepoint with the new name. here is where the problem is

what I have problems is when Filecopy runs I get a bad file name error on the File copy line.

Now i also use this destination address strBasePath & strFileName & ".pdf" in another code to save as excel file as PDF and it works fine saving the workbook as a pdf to sharepoint.

Hopefully someone can help.
