format a cell background colour based on a manual background colour of an adjacent cell

Hi

I have a spreadsheet which is basically an organisation chart - with over 300 staff who are based at 1 of 6 campuses (therefore 6 colours).

Cell 1 has Staff name and FTE and a background colour to identify campus, e.g. Person A (1.0) - background colour pale blue.
Cell 2 has a formula that extracts the FTE e.g 1.0

I would like cell 2 to have the same background as Cell 1.

The result will allow me to sum all staff members FTE by colour for each campus. I have attached a sample of my spreadsheet.
