I've run into this issue in Excel 2016.
I need each user to be able to use these worksheets without network access. any help would be appreciated.

The solution I see is this one suggested in the other post:I don't quite understand why everyone on the network being able to see the into this folder is a problem, but it seems to be a consideration. I'm not sure why you can't make this C:\AddIns private, unless there is something about the macro that copies from the network to the local location that requires this folder to be public. Remember that Windows also has a set of "public" folders you can put something like this in.One solution I can see is to put all the add-ins in the following place on all computers
'C:\ AddIns
This might solve the problem. This will however result in that all who look-on to that computer has access to the add-ins. It is possible for me to look on a colleges computer when we have network access.
The solution I see is to store the add-in in the same place on each computer that needs to share it. It sounds like the main question might be more of a Windows question about how to set the permissions on a location like that so that not everyone on the network has access to it.
