Hi,
I have built a workbook template that will be used by multiple users at my business. It features a sheet that has an entire set of data (equipment costs and various cost factors such as fuel, hours of use, etc), formatted as a table (Table1), that can be filtered to show only relevant pieces of construction equipment using two slicers (category and description). This sheet is where users can modify data in columns as needed based on their use case to generate equipment rental rates.
On a separate sheet, I have a PivotTable based on Table1. This sheet is used to format and print out the output of the users work in Table1 (i.e. calculated rental rates). Currently, users have to manually filter the PivotTable to show the same relevant equipment categories and descriptions that is filtered on Table1.
I am trying to find a way to extract or copy the Table1 filter and apply it to the PivotTable.
I know slicers can be linked to two or more PivotTables, but I have a Table and a PivotTable that need to match.
Thanks very much in advance for any advice you may have.
Chris
