Goal: To export a PDF to a the same location as the active workbook every time the user saves the document.
I've found the command to export to PDF, the thing I'm looking for help with is overloading Excel's default Save (not Save As...) command. Is this possible?

Not sure what you mean by overloading, but..
The code needs to go in the Before_Save event macro, located in ThisWorkbook module

Perhaps with a date and timestamp - something like this
