i have a folder with multiple workbooks. all are an identical form. in cell O4 of each I have a drop down list for users. in Range L7:L16 i have another drop down list of answers ("yes" or "no"). I would like to summarize the number of "yes" and "no" for each user, regardless of number of workbooks in folder.
I can picture how the workbooks would look, but to be honest, I'm too lazy to construct it. If you can provide a sample, I can clone it.
I do have a question: where is the user's name? How do you know who filled out the workbook. I'll assume you want something like the picture.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.
A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
