How to access selected controls when selected in Components Dialog Box

    Hello,
When I push CTRL+T in VB in excel I get this box. I am trying to solve a problem I have with a very old spreadsheet and I believe t has to do with the options in this dialog box. However I cannot find anywhere to access the controls I have selected. Any advice?Capture1.PNG

    Hello suc8nc,

More information is needed to answer your question.
    1. What version of Windows and Office are you using?
    2. What is the Office version of the "old spreadsheet"?
    3. What do you mean by "accessing the controls"?
    4. Which controls are you having issues with?
    5. Where are the controls located: On a worksheet or VBA UserForm?
    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

Re: How to access selected controls when selected in Components Dialog Box

    Hi Leith,
I have reinstalled Office 2010 on my Windows 10 computer.
I believe the spreadsheet was done in excel 2010 ( made in 2011)
I am trying to reverse something I did on the worksheet through VBA which changed all the text to some other character set / code. I am pretty sure that I was able to do it using short cut keys when I knew the control (which I have now forgotten), it opened a dialog box where I picked the option from a list. The CTRL+T is a vague memory I had, and the Groove Text Tool library also rings a bell (the pic I posted is from my work computer and does not have the Groove Text Tools option as it is excel 2013)
I am at work at the moment so I cannot paste an example.
But what ever I did changed it to other characters and if I did it again it would change it back.
My main question is what is this box for. When I select one of the options what does it do. It does not show up anywhere from what I can see. They do not show up in the userform toolbox like the additional controls do.
