Conditional drop down list with option to add catagories

I have three columns that will contain a category, a sub-category and an optional sub-sub-category. I want some VBA code to be able to create a drop-down list the will restrict your choices based on your previous category and/or sub-category chosen. I also want to be able to add a category or sub-category in the same drop-down list (ie. not editing a range manually) so in the future, it can be selected from the list.

In addition to this, I will be creating a table to house the information so I want the next row to automatically contain the list.

Thank you in advance for any help.

If the data is in an Excel Table or a Pivot Table, you can use Slicers. Slicers are self-cascading in both directions. Do a web search on slicers. They are very intuitive.

There are ways to use named ranges and indirect or you can try the technique outlined in this article: http://www.utteraccess.com/wiki/Casc...ists_%28VBA%29
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
