Disable Alert Message on Protected Sheet

Hi , I Need some assistance here pls.

I am looking to disable the alert message which usually appears when users tries to enter anything on a cell which is locked and protected sheet. Can it be done through VBA

as such below

I'm not aware that you can - short of writing your own protected cell routine, which is a bit pointless.

What you could do though, is forbid the user from selecting locked cells, from the Protect Sheet dialog box. Once protected, the user cannot attempt to edit what they can't select.

In the attached file, only the green cells can be selected, or edited. Tab can be used to cycle through them, or they can be selected manually.
