Avoid using Select, Selection and Activate in your code. Use With ... End With instead.

A ComboBox is nothing more than a ListBox in drop-down menu form.
Your question is unclear , could you explain it clearly and what you really want.
I can assume many things but that will take me down the wrong path.

In my Listview, im trying to make the listitem editable by choosing from a dropdownlist.
The listitem is a dropdown list.
Could that be possible in VBA?

No, You cannot place a ComboBox as an item in a ListBox.
I'm trying to imagine what you mean by make "the listitem editable"
