get the bookmarks of a PDF (javascript turned off)
Hi guys,
I have a bunch of PDF's with really ugly titles that make no sense.
However most of the PDF's seem to have bookmarks, and some of those bookmarks have the title of the PDF.
Is there any way I can pull the bookmark text out of PDFs into an Excel sheet using VBA?

You have to use a third-party program to extract the bookmarks (which you could control through VBA) and then import. Do you have Acrobat Pro installed (not just the reader)? If not, then you can use a third-party freeware program such as PDFtk (command line utility...not the prettiest, but works)..
