    Syntax for sorting text as numbers - Dates do not follow if crossing a month

    The above is supposed so sort a range by column "A" and then column "D". Column "D" are dates and need to take into account months. The above is sorting but not 30/05/2018, 31/05/2018,01/06/2018,02/06/2018 as expected but 01/06/2018,02/06/2018, 30/05/2018, 31/05/2018

    Any idea how to change appreciated

    If those cells contain actual dates and not text, sort normally.

    If you want them to sort as dates, you need to convert them to dates. Convert via Text to columns.

    I tried this but dates were created in MM/DD/YYYY format, but only for June dates- I cant as yet see how to output as DD/MM/YYYY by forcing format

    Sorted - bit of googling and spotted this as format of array output
