    find directory

    Hello everyone.
    I ask for help to do this:

    I have a path (path) fixed in A2
    in B2 the name of a directory
    in C2 the name of a file to search

    I click in a "SEARCH" button
    in B3 if the folder is present it must be displayed present, is not present displayed non present
    in C3 if the file is present it must be displayed present, is not present displayed non present

    I hope I explained myself.

    Re: find directory

    in B2 the name of a directory
    Do you mean folder...
    Is the file of C2 in the folder of B2 or not
    Good Luck...
    I don't presume to know what I am doing, however, just like you, I too started somewhere...

    Re: find directory

    max_max:

    The directory in "B2"... does it mean the folder should be "C:\Users\massimo\Desktop\moduli_salvati\massimo" or does the search need to check all folders in "C:\Users\massimo\Desktop\moduli_salvati" because maybe "massimo" is a folder inside ANOTHER folder in the fixed path? (for example "C:\Users\massimo\Desktop\moduli_salvati\blabla\pieces\massimo")

    Re: find directory

    this does not makes sense...
    C2 = folder
    B2 = file in folder B2
    And ...

    If the file |C2 was in the folder B2 and the folder was not there then both would be "not present"

    Perhaps...
