VBA Windows API to Minimize and Maximize Applications

    Hello,

I'm very familiar with opening and closing excel workbooks through VBA. But what if I need to do the same to an external application? Is windows API the way to go? How do I even start the process? Do I need to install libraries? Where can I get them?

Maybe someone has a better approach. Please keep in mind that I do not have a dev environment like Visual Studio. I'm on a work computer and our IT limits access to that kind of tool.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thank you,

    Justin

Found everything I need on Youtube. I'd post the link but I'm not sure if that is against the rules.

    Thanks.
