Only back up copy and do not change the name of current workbook

    Dear All,
i used to take backup of my working excel file often to ensure no data loss and no confusion later.
Is there any simple way using VBA to save a copy of my current workbook without closing and changing the name of the workbook.
i.e I dont want to change the name of my current workbook which i am working on, since this file is linked to so many other files. So, changing name will break the link.
\For Eg, myworkbook.xlsm is my workbook currently i am working on.
I want to save a copy of the file without closing the file in a given specific folder by naming the file depending on the date and time.
    like myworkbook_18072018_11.30PM. xlsm

    Please help.

    Tryt 'SaveCopyAs' method.
Any code provided by me should be tested on a copy or a mock up of your original data before applying it to the original. Some events in VBA cannot be reversed with the undo facility in Excel.
