The Spreadsheetname.xlsx files no longer work. They are simple time savers. I saved the file as a .xlsm and still no macros will work, below are 2 examples:

Hi,
Please note our forum rules about wrapping VBA code in [CODE] [\CODE] tags
Not quite sure why you want to create a macro for Bold and Italic when Ctrl-B and Ctrl-I ared inbuilt shortcuts.

I definitely need to refresh myself on keyboard shortcuts. I will have to do some research to fix my other problems.
Please add the code tags requested. No further help will be offered until you do. Thanks.

Ok, I do not know what code tags are and I been up since about 7am yesterday and it is now 12:45am today. I'm hitting the bed now.
See post #2, where Richard told you how to do this. I will do it for you this once - next time, you will be expected to do so yourself. Thanks.
Good morning Scshot
The macros, as supplied, work perfectly.
Can you upload the file? You can delete all the information within the file - we just need to see the code, where it resides and how you are attempting to call it. Then someone should be able to tell you why it doesn't work, and give you a fix.

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitise the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and then scroll down to Manage Attachments to open the upload window.
An xlsx file can't contain macros.
@ rorya - His post states he saved it as an .xlsm file.

Yes, but he didn't mention adding the code back in.
I just came from a computer repair company. I showed him the issue and he was able tweak a few things. Then he went to the macro icon clicked on one of my macros entered the letter for the macro, which was blank and it worked and stayed there when tried again. The old version with the xlsx ending has worked with my macros until the latest Windows upgrade. Maybe that up grade made the xlsx no longer able to run macros, very strange. He put Malwarebytes on my machine and it had picked up a lot of malware. I just checked and no new stuff, I'll check later. I am going again later to day. I have chores to do this afternoon. Thank You all for you help!
