Hi,
In short - I look for a macro that will filter out pivot table based on set of items defined in other
sheet and for each filtering will copy out values yet to an other sheet.
In detail:
In Sheet B I have pivot table with few items, but only one I am interested to filter out.
For each item I get an value in cell D2 (still pivot table) and this value is used in a calculation.
Outcome of the calculation is in cell J2 (not a pivot table, just a regular cell).
So I have around 50 items (count is increasing) defined in Sheet A in column B (data in sheet A
is data source for pivot table), so to get an overlook of calculations for every item, I need to manually
filter it in pivot table and then copy-paste outcome as values to an other sheet (sheet C).
So macro should consist of three components:
- filtering out items in pivot table;
- defining items ,that need to be filter, in a specific range (column B in Sheet A for example) (or just filter all possible items);
- copy and paste as values specific range/cells to a new sheet (where each paste is pasted in a new line).
In other words macro should say - “filter out each item, that is listed in Sheet A in column B, in a pivot table in
Sheet B and then copy line 2 to sheet C in the next empty line”
