How to lock the cell from Editing after time is over using Macro

Dear All expert,

Like to check with ALL. I am developing something whereby allow a user to book for a facilities using Excel. As now after they book, they can anytime amend the booking by double click the cell.

Hence, wondering how to write the macro to lock the cell automatically after the time or date is over so that user can't anyhow shorten the timing for the booking result in unfair charges?

Assuming the sheet is protected, you could change the Locked property of the cell to true.
However, I don't think there is anything you can do in Excel which would stop a determined attempt to shorten the timing.

Any idea how can I write the macro so that when I get it run daily (don't mind to open the file daily), just hope that the cell that is already over the date will lock automatically?
