Auto pasting values from a reference sheet when values entered in a separate sheet.

In the example I have a 2 column reference where data in column E is correlated to column F. I need the data in Column F to show up anytime data from Column E is entered in a separate worksheet if possible.

Is it possible to enter data in Column A of Sheet 1 that pulls the correlated data from column B in reference Sheet 2 and enters it into Column B of Sheet 1?

I tried using a simple function in a single sheet but it obviously doesn't do what I need, it just continues as a list.

Just checking that it is a VBA solution you want, not a formula?

VBA would be better but a function would work. Just looking for functionality. I don't have a copy of the sheet as Im not at work, but currently uses a macro that takes data from certain columns and pastes it in the correct columns. However, there is not a reference in that data for one of the columns. So If I create a 2 column reference that will have a few thousand rows, I just want to be able to have column b of the reference post to column b of the working sheet when column a of reference sheet is entered into column A of working sheet. Column A=Plan ID Column B=Plan Description for example. Sorry for the long reply.

Attach a sample workbook (not a picture or pasted copy). Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.
