Can I change Font size without changing cell size? Or confine row height change to one col

With the help of MarcL and Fluff13 I have managed to control the size and colour of some numbers in a cell. The cell is on a DashBoard which contains graphs and Meter dialsThe manipulated cell is in a row which crosses a dial. The increase in font size has increased the whole row height and thus distorted the dial.
What I would like is to have the cell size change to be confined to that cell. Is that possible?

Fraid not.
You can only change the height of the entire row.

Can the numbers that should be in that cell not go in a textbox?
Then you can make it any size you want without interfering with anything else.
