    Separate a statement that utilizes Split(), into 2 or more separate lines.

    In Excel VBA, one normally uses an underscore to break, or separate of long line of statement to 2 or more lines.

    In trying to write the following array

    I am unable to separate the 'columnName =' statement into two or more lines, using underscore.

    Is a way around this besides abandoning the Split(), all together?

    You can also use concatenation directly with the underscore:
