Create Sheets, separate records, copy-paste cell values from master to created sheets

    Hello All,

I have a master sheet with a table listing 260 items and their tech. specifications - under 20 headings.

I need to create a separate sheet for each item of the 260.
Naming the created sheet by its item code, which is listed in the first column in the master table.
The created sheet will have a template Report Form that have titles the same as the 20 headings in the master sheet, but in different arrangement, to be like a one-page form summarizing the tech. specifications for a single item of the 260.
The Macro is required to fill up the Report Form for each item by looking for the value under the relative heading in the master sheet and copy it and go to the created sheet to paste that value adjacent to the appropriate heading, doing so until completing the Report Form.
Then repeating the whole process for the 260 created sheets to end up having a 260 Report Forms for the 260 items.

ITEM CODE ITEM DESCRIPTION Package Manufacturer Model Dimensions (mm) Mounting Type Weight Heat Gain Power

Volt Current Power Source Phase Remarks Data Port QTY Plumbing Connection Pressure

    These are the 20 headings.

Note: The Excel file showing a sample of the master sheet and the complete Report Form is attached along with this thread.

    Thanks so much...

Rule 08: Cross-posting Without Telling Us

Your post does not comply with Rule 8 of our Forum RULES. Do not cross-post your question on multiple forums without telling us about your threads on other forums.

Post a link to any other forums where you have asked the same question. If you have fewer than 10 posts here, you will not be able to post a link, but you must still tell us where else you have asked the question.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Expect cross-posted questions without a link to be closed and a message will be posted by the moderator explaining why. We are here to help so help us to help you!

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this, and then please edit your first post to include links to any and all cross-posts in any other forums (not just this site).

If you have less than 10 posts, do not try to copy and paste the link. Instead, type the link out in your thread.

No further help to be offered, please, until the OP has complied with this request.

Re: Create Sheets, separate records, copy-paste cell values from master to created sheets

    Dear Admin and Members,

Thank you so much for advising. And I appreciate your precious effort and time.

I admit that I have posted the same post on 4 forums/support groups with no bad intention at all. It was just my urgency to get a notifications if there is a way or a solution in Excel that can fit with my need, as I'm not a MS Excel expert. And this is the first time for me to use such forums for help/expert advice.

I apologize for unintentionally breaking the rules.

I am giving here the places where I have posted the same (or part of the) question:

    mrexcel forum

    msoffice/forum

    ccm/forum

I apologize again, and thank you for guiding.

    Best Regards,
    HishamEzzat
